City of Ann Arbor parcel GIS snapshot used in the presentation. Properties are selected by proximity to 732 Packard, using the city’s Single Family land-use classification. Condominiums, tax-exempt properties, and records without residential floor area were excluded, along with the 160-foot site vicinity.
This classification does not establish current rental occupancy or detached building form. The calculation compares gross building capacity; it is not a forecast of homes converting or being freed up. Counts round 1,217 ÷ students per home to the nearest whole property: 304 at four, 243 at five, or 203 at six. Each smaller selection keeps the nearest properties from the original 304.
The pink footprint combines 12 parcels recorded to Core Michigan Packard, LLC and zoned PUD. Bed-count source: McClure.
